Description

This Master’s program is offered by the Botanical Department of the School of Natural and Oceanographic Sciences. This prestigious department concentrates its efforts on teaching and research in the study of aquatic and terrestrial photosynthetic organisms. Since its creation in 1983, there have been 36 graduates, many of whom have continued their training both in Chile and abroad.

Objectives

To train high-level professional graduates, capable of teaching at universities or conducting research in universities and the private sector.

Candidate Profile

Applicants must have a Bachelor’s degree in Biology (or equivalent academic or professional degree in Biology) and must fulfill the requirements or equivalent knowledge, properly evaluated, in order to start the program.
