Description

This program is based on the verification that there was a long period in which Sociology and Social Sciences were underdeveloped in Chile, especially in regions outside Santiago, and considers current demands in terms of the level of development of Sociology. This demand requires Social Science professionals highly qualified for research.

Objectives

To train graduates with a strong scientific preparation in Social Sciences, capable of planning, conducting and evaluating development studies and participating in multi- and interdisciplinary teams.

Candidate Profile

This program is oriented towards Chilean and Latin American professionals and applicants with a Bachelor’s degree, preferably in areas of social research.
