Description

This program offers advanced studies in Forestry and Management of Forest Ecosystems, Wood Chemistry and Technology, evaluation of resources and environmental conservation, and Forest Biotechnology from a multidisciplinary perspective. The School has an experimental station next to the university, which supports research and training activities. Distinguished researchers affiliated to important forestry institutions are part of this program.

Objectives

To train graduates competent in the sustainable management of forest ecosystems. Graduates of this program will be qualified to conduct research, conservation and productive activities in the forestry sector, in the areas of Vegetable Biotechnology, Forestry and Wood Chemistry and Technology, and Management of Forest Ecosystems.

Candidate Profile

The Master in Forestry Sciences is designed for applicants with a Bachelor’s or professional degree in Forestry Sciences or related areas.
