The Master in Medical Education for Health Sciences is a graduate program oriented towards Health Care professionals interested in research and teaching. This program strives to achieve a homogeneous level of training in specific Health Care competencies, by establishing research groups that systematically provide evidence to support the development of educational changes.

Objectives

To strengthen graduates’ ability to become leaders in the field of education, research and education management in the field of Medicine and Health Sciences. To train high-level graduates in the field of Medical Education and Health Sciences, in order to develop their research skills for producing knowledge and innovating in areas of Education related to teaching Health Sciences and which may be applied to their work.

Candidate Profile

Applicants must have a Bachelor’s or professional degree in a Health Care discipline, including Medicine, Dentistry, Midwifery, Nursing, Medical Technology, Psychology, Biochemistry, Pharmacy, Nutrition, Social Work, Kinesiology, Speech and Language Therapy and other professional disciplines in the field of Health Care. They must also meet the requirements defined by the Graduate Office, and attend a personal interview.
