Description

This program is oriented towards the development of a discipline that studies the processes that occur in Mathematics learning situations.

Objectives

To train graduates capable of investigating these processes using Mathematical knowledge and specific theoretical frameworks that include implicit didactic (properly), cognitive and epistemological aspects, and who have the competencies required to make research and innovation proposals based on theoretical and empirical evidence.

Candidate Profile

Applicants must have a Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent professional degree, granted by a Chilean or foreign institution, and must have responsibilities that include teaching Mathematics at the primary, secondary or higher education level. • Professionals with recognized experience in teaching Mathematics: High school Math teachers, those with Bachelor’s or Master’s degrees in Mathematics or a related scientific discipline; Grade school teachers with a Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree in Education, and others.
