Description

This program is for high-level scientific and technical professionals, with an interdisciplinary interest in formulating, researching and analyzing, in a critical manner, policies, projects and actions in local and regional development in rural areas, with a special emphasis on the socio-cultural, economic and environmental contextualization of such initiatives. In this sense, the program pays special attention to the development of small companies and family production units, and to local communal actions by sectors and groups with less access to resources.

Objectives

To provide graduate training oriented towards substantially improving the effectiveness of professionals in this activity.

Candidate Profile

This program is oriented towards Chilean and foreign university graduates with an interdisciplinary approach and interested in expanding their knowledge of rural development.
