Description

This program favors creating a global understanding of communication and its impact on culture, and proposing the relevance of a dialogical and reflective paradigm that trains postgraduates capable of supporting processes of socio-cultural development.

Objectives

To train graduates with a critical vision of different aspects of communication, who are willing to act in an interdisciplinary manner, aware of the meaning of communication in society and culture. These graduates must be able to: Identify and appreciate theoretical and practical communication problems. Describe and analyze communication using theories, models, methods and techniques of the corresponding disciplines. Investigate an area of Communication Sciences and its interdisciplinary exchanges. Assess and formulate designs and strategies for change as applied to the field of Communications.

Candidate Profile

Certificate of academic or professional degree, equivalent to a Bachelor’s degree. Applicants with no training in the field of Communications will attend an interview to establish a leveling program to be determined by the Program Committee.
