In the case of Astronomy, student must have experience in data observation, reduction and analysis.
The main objective is to train graduates with a strong background in Physics and previous research experience in some area of Physics or Astronomy, in order to prepare them to pursue doctoral studies in Physics or Astronomy at Chilean or foreign universities.
This program is designed for those with Bachelorâs degree in Physics or Astronomy, or a professional degree similar to the LFA-UCN in its level and content, granted by a Chilean or foreign university, with a minimum final grade of 5.0 (on the Chilean scale of 1-7).
