Description

This program is organized as a series of flexible curricular activities to be executed by professionals trained in the field of Biological Sciences, with a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional degree, thus allowing greater mobility in the development of different projects in the labs they join, thus becoming catalysts for research.

Objectives

The Master of Biomedical Sciences aims to gain deeper knowledge in specific areas of Biomedical Sciences, training students in basic or applied research by applying the scientific method. The Master of Biomedical Sciences is considered an alternative for graduates of Medicine, Dentistry, Biological Sciences, Medical Technology, Obstetrics, Physiotherapy and other professionals with training in Biology who wish to strengthen their conceptual and experimental knowledge. In this sense, the Master’s degree will consolidate their training by providing them with a greater level of academic competence in specific disciplines.

Candidate Profile

Applicants must have at least a Bachelor’s or professional degree in a scientific field. Candidates must apply to the program during the official application period, providing all the required documents. Selected applicants must pay admission and registration fees during the period established by Universidad de Antofagasta, and enroll in curricular activities corresponding to each academic period by the specified deadlines.
