Description

This is a 4-semester, on-campus academic program offering advanced training in Mathematics and a specialization in Applied Mathematics or Statistics to professionals in these disciplines or with an equivalent background.

Objectives

To train high-level professionals in the area of Mathematical Sciences, with a multidisciplinary profile and competencies allowing them to work in the design, execution and application of new mathematical or statistical models in the area of Engineering, Industry, Finance, Biology, Physics, as well as an efficient performance in basic and applied research.

Candidate Profile

Open to individuals with the following backgrounds: Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or Biology, Engineering, Mathematical Engineering, Statistical Engineering, Civil Engineering (in any specialty), Commercial Engineering, Math Teaching, or training equivalent to a Bachelor’s degree in any scientific discipline.
