Description

The Master of Science in Reproductive Biology aims to train postgraduates qualified to conduct research projects and teach in the field of Reproductive Biology, in higher education institutions, contributing to education and the advancement of knowledge in the different areas of Reproductive Biology (human and animal) in our region and the country, through the development of their graduate theses and professional work.

Objectives

"Specific objectives:
1. To update their knowledge in the field of Reproductive Biology, preparing them to teach qualitatively better undergraduate courses.
2. To acquire a solid training in scientific research.
3. To propose and develop research projects in order to produce scientific knowledge.
4. To work in multidisciplinary teams and develop proposals that include multidisciplinary approaches, in a framework of scientific and academic cooperation, both within their institution and at other regional, national and international institutions.
5. To engage in critical reflection and develop an ethically responsible stance regarding scientific knowledge.
6. To represent their institution at any event, demonstrating the academic level reached during their training."

Candidate Profile

Applicants must have a Bachelor’s degree in Science or an equivalent professional degree in the area of Medical and/or Biological Sciences, granted by a national or foreign university or higher education institution, properly certified before Universidad de La Frontera’s School of Medicine.
