The Master in Social Management is a professional graduate program with the general objective of training professionals in advanced competencies for managerial activity, through the study, design, management and evaluation of social policies, programs and projects that favor the creation of public value in social development processes.
To develop the analytical capacities necessary to understand the complexity of socio-economic problems and processes from the perspective of Social Management. To produce and/or strengthen abilities in applied social research, contributing information and analyses to the management processes of social policies, programs and projects. To develop managerial competencies in the areas of leadership, teamwork, negotiation and strategic communication, and human resource management applied to social development processes. To develop methodological competencies for the design, planning, management and evaluation of social policies, programs and projects.
Graduates of Universidad de La Fronteraâs Master in Social Management will be professionals with a theoretical and methodological training that allows them to: Lead socially-oriented programs. Intervene in permanent processes of social evaluation. Develop research and/or intervention projects in any area of Social Management. Participate in multidisciplinary teams for the creation of social policies. Work at the social intervention level with an ethical attitude and respect for diversity in the broadest sense.
