Description

This Master’s program is a double-degree program offered by Universidad de Talca’s Center for the Study of Labor Law (Chile) and Universidad de Valencia’s Social Security and the Labor Law Department (Spain). It is designed to provide advanced studies in the disciplines of Labor Law and Social Security. It also seeks to generate a space for academic debate regarding current challenges in both legal disciplines, both in their normative choices and their application.

Objectives

To train specialists in the legal discipline of Labor Law, qualified to account for, on the one hand, the state of the scientific and jurisprudential discussion regarding the main institutions of Individual and Collective Labor Law and, on the other, the legislative policy alternatives underlying the regulation of such institutions, both in the Chilean normative model and in the main benchmarks of Comparative Law.

Candidate Profile

Applicants to this program must have training that is equivalent at least to a Bachelor’s degree in Law or Legal Sciences.
