Description

This Master’s program is a double-degree program offered by the Center for the Study of Criminal Law of the School of Legal and Social Science and by Universitat Pompeu Fabra (Barcelona-Spain). This program offers academic and professional training that responds to the needs of forensic practice in criminal matters.

Objectives

The objective of this program is to train professionals specialized in Criminal Law, qualified to account for the current state of the dogmatic and jurisprudential discussion in the fundamental aspects of Criminal Law and Criminal Procedure, to understand the scientific foundations and practical applications of Criminology, Legal Medicine and Criminalistics, and according to their graduation mode, to participate in the national scientific discussion by publishing their research in indexed scientific journals.

Candidate Profile

Applicants must have a Bachelor’s degree in Law, Legal and Social Sciences or an equivalent degree, granted by a university recognized by the Chilean State or properly validated.
