Description

The Master in Meteorology and Climatology (MMC) is oriented towards meteorologists, civil engineers, professionals and those with Bachelor’s degrees in other areas of Earth Sciences (oceanographers, geologists, geophysicists) and Exact Sciences (physicists, mathematicians). The field of activity for graduates of this program includes meteorological and hydrological services in public and private organizations.

Objectives

To train graduates specializing in the fields of Meteorology and Climatology, capable of developing professional activities where this knowledge is relevant, as well as pursuing advanced studies in these disciplines.

Candidate Profile

Applicants must have a Bachelor’s degree in Science. Also welcome to apply are those with a professional or Bachelor’s degree with a level, content and duration equivalent to a Bachelor’s degree granted by Universidad de Chile, and which also includes a basic training in Physics and Mathematics consistent with the requirements of the program.
