The Master in Political Science aims to train high-level specialists in the major areas of Political Science, and to provide conceptual elements, methodological tools and instruments for practical application, allowing students to study, analyze and contribute in search of solutions to the problems posed by national and international public and political activity.
Applicants must have a good command of theoretical and methodological elements, allowing them to understand how institutions work and what continuities and changes affect our political systems. They must also be able to conduct research in this discipline and reflect on the main currents of political thought.
Applicant are expected to have training equivalent to that provided by Universidad de Chile or other universities recognized by the State, or foreign universities considered equivalent. Preference will be given to applicants whose undergraduate training is similar to the area of the program and who have relevant professional experience.
