The disciplinary field of this program is shaped by the analysis of international relations in the broadest sense, including governmental and non-governmental connections that transcend national borders in their different political, economic, juridical, social and historical dimensions. The program also includes the study of the most relevant aspects of foreign countries, to the extent that these have an impact on the international reality.
To provide students with basic theoretical and methodological tools that allow them to strengthen their knowledge of the most relevant topics in the field, with a special emphasis in the diversity of existing approaches and the need to develop a capacity for critical reflection in the study of international problems.
Applicants must have a Bachelorâs or professional degree granted by national or foreign universities, or by higher education institutions, with a level, content and duration equivalent to a Bachelorâs degree granted by Universidad de Chile.
