Description

The Master of Psychology in Clinical Child and Adolescent Psychology is an inter-departmental academic program between the School of Social Sciences and the School of Medicine, through their respective Graduate Schools. One of its main goals is the specialization of graduates in the area of Clinical Child Psychology, providing further theoretical and methodological training for scientific research in Child and Adolescent Psychology topics.

Objectives

To provide psychologists and physicians specialized in Psychiatry with an integral training based on research regarding normal psychological development, evolutionary psychopathology, psychodiagnostics, psychological treatment and prevention in Mental Health.

Candidate Profile

Applicants must have up-to-date knowledge and the capacity to use a comprehensive and interdisciplinary perspective to understand and question topics related to clinical child and adolescent psychology, such as psychological development, evolutionary psychopathology, and therapeutic and preventive interventions in child and adolescent mental health.
