To identify and solve them is a great challenge, which can be assumed intelligently and enthusiastically. This field of knowledge has been developed by combining multidisciplinary contributions that range from Psychology, in order to understand human behavior, to Engineering, with its analytic methods, to Geography, Economics and Urban Development. This variety of approaches, along with the areaâs relevance in terms of quality of life, are probably the key elements that make this discipline an interesting intellectual challenge.
The goal of this program is to train students, through core and elective coursework plus a thesis, to achieve a strong knowledge of the fundamental aspects of Transportation, with frontier specialization in one or more specific aspects (Transportation Networks, Theory of Circulation, Transportation Economics, Demand Modeling, Soil Use, and Transportation).
Applicants must have a Bachelorâs degree in Engineering Sciences, granted by Universidad de Chile, or an equivalent degree that guarantees previous training consistent with the goals and requirements of the program.
