The Master in Latin American Studies seeks to stimulate advanced reflections on Latin American reality from an interdisciplinary perspective, focusing primarily on the study of culture, history, ideas and literature.

To train specialists, researchers and teachers in the field of Latin American Studies.

Candidate Profile

Applicants must have an academic or professional degree granted by a Chilean or foreign university, a degree that is considered equivalent to a Bachelor’s degree granted by Universidad de Chile. Applicants must demonstrate competence in reading complex texts written originally in English, French or German.
