Description

The Master in Industrial Engineering (MII) is a high-level graduate program that trains executives to provide a comprehensive vision of business management and provides analytic tools that impact decision-making and reinforce management skills, thus enabling graduates to assume greater responsibilities. MII courses are organized into three main areas: Area of Operational Research and Operations Management, Area of Economics and Finances, and Area of Management and Organizational Behavior, which are divided into 24 courses (120 credits) plus a graduation activity (30 credits) over 2 years (4 annual bimesters), with classroom sessions on Thursdays from 6:30 to 9:20 PM and Fridays from 2:00 to 7:50 PM at UC’s San Joaquín Campus. The MII is oriented towards professionals.

Objectives

The general goal of the Master in Industrial Engineering is to train professionals capable of innovating in business management practices and the creation of new businesses, from the perspective and approaches of industrial engineering and quantitative methodologies, thus helping to create an effective transfer of knowledge and technology to the business world. MII aims to train leaders to be forces for change in their organizations, capable of combining the three essential languages of management: the quantitative language, the economic and financial language, and the language of organizational behavior.

Candidate Profile

The minimum requirements for applying are: Applicants must have a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent university training. Must have at least two years of work experience. Good level of comprehension in English. Must pass the selection system which considers the academic and professional history of the applicant (Resumé, undergraduate history, letters of recommendation, among others) including a personal interview.
