Link to magísterThe MARQ Master in Architecture is a graduate program oriented towards the reflection and practice of architecture in a national and international context, with an emphasis in the contemporary Latin American space. It combines a critical evaluation of historical, theoretical and cultural conditions, with the development of new project methods and instruments. Active since 1991, with over 160 theses and a significant body of studies, it proposes an interaction between research and projects that has allowed graduates to enter leading areas of this profession and the academic field, combining excellence in technical and project preparation with an openness to new scenarios in the contemporary cultural scene.
To train high-level professionals and academics, capable of producing a superior level of research, theory and project practices. It proposes a particular reflection on the dynamics and intensity of Latin American urban realities and the use of digital technologies to analyze and conceive the complex conditions that projects may face in this context. It proposes interactions between research, theory and the project that allow graduates to participate in advanced areas of the professional and academic field.
Applicants must have a Bachelorâs or professional degree, with a level equivalent to the one granted by Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile. Must present the application documentation described in the programâs regulations. (Online application).
