Description

This Master in Statistics was established in 1987, and has since been accredited by Conicyt and later by CONAP. Students from different Latin American countries have participated in this program. Following the creation of the PhD in Statistics in 1998, the Master’s program was reoriented to make it more accessible to students from various disciplines who are interested in reinforcing their training in quantitative aspects.

Objectives

The goal is to train high-level statistical professionals, capable of interacting with professionals from other fields, and to contribute to the dissemination of the multiple interdisciplinary applications of Statistics. To provide advanced knowledge of Statistics while developing a particular interest in professional applications.

Candidate Profile

Applicants must have a Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, or Mathematics, with an emphasis in Statistics, or an equivalent degree.
