Description

This program is offered by the Department of Chemical Engineering, with the cooperation of other departments and the sponsorship and supervision of the Office of Graduate Studies. The Master of Engineering Sciences with an emphasis in Chemical Engineering is awarded to students who demonstrate their ability and skills in research by presenting a graduate thesis.

Objectives

To expand applicants’ knowledge of the foundations and applications of Engineering Sciences, Chemistry and similar fields, such as Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics and Material Science in general.

Candidate Profile

Applicants must have a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering Sciences, with an emphasis in Chemical Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering or similar specializations; or a professional degree in Civil Chemical Engineering, Civil Metallurgical Engineering or compatible areas.
